Which product?
We make 4 key products - a Balm, a Skin Cream, a Bath Oil & a Body Oil
You will notice on the website we label these as they are and also list them as Baby Balm, Baby Cream etc but they are the same product. We did this as people look for baby specific products and as these products were made with a baby in mind we have added them to a baby specific category on here.
The products can be used for all ages
I've tried everything ! Will it work?
The main problems associated with eczema prone skin are dryness, itchiness and damaged skin. Plus our customers are extrememly sensitive to a lot of things which is why we keep it simple and only use a few ingredients in each product.
Our products were designed to help in three ways:
- Relief Repair Replenish
- We only use natural oils known to moisturise, ease itchy skin, calm red, inflamed skin and repair damaged skin.
- Our Relief Repair Replenish range is very concentrated, made of beeswax, shea butter and plant oils.
As well as immediate moisturising effects the natural oils add vitamins and fatty acids to the skin which many other synthetic products do not offer.
This should help improve your skin over time. Our founder’s son was told he would not grow out of his eczema as it was so severe but now his skin is clear with no signs that he ever had eczema.
In particular, we use Borage Oil because it has the highest known concentration of GLA (Gamma Linolenic Acid) which is a fatty acid that eczema-prone skin lacks.
We use Rosehip oil too, which in some studies is known to heal scars.
It seems expensive compared with other products?
We don’t add any water to our Balm, Skin Cream or Oils so you typically need to use less than products containing water. Water can be helpful in formulations but without it means they contain a higher concentration of the beneficial oils.
A tiny bit will warm and spread on the skin so we advise to add a little first and you can always add more if needed.
The Body Oil and Bath Oil will moisturise skin all over, quickly and easily. Some customers save the Balm or Skin Cream for really stubborn bits of dry skin and then use the oils all over to give greater coverage.
Many customers agree that you only need a small amount compared with other products.
How it is different from other products?
We hear from a lot of people that they have tried natural products before and they have been disappointed.
Here's why we are different:
1) Minimal ingredients list
Our customers have multiples sensitivities so we keep it simple! Our Bath oil, for example only has three ingredients
2) Fragrance Free and free from essential oils
Fragrance isn't necessary and the fragrance allergens in essential oils probably outweights the benefits for most with sensitive skin
Yes, essential oils are natural but they can contain known fragrance allergens so it's not worth it. More on this in the next point.
3) Cosmetic/Skincare Allergens
All cosmetic/skincare products have to be tested to UK & EU regulations which assess a product for safety and also to identify allergens found in natural ingredients.
As such product labels must declare fragrance allergens if they have more than 0.001% (in a leave on product ie a skin cream)
Lavender for example contains fragrance allergens, one being linalool, so for this reason we’d advise to avoid Lavender and products with Lavender essential oil in.
We are happy to report that none of our products in the Relief Repair Replenish range contain any ingredients containing allergens found under EU regulations.
The list of allergens is as follows:
List A: Fragrance chemicals, which according to existing knowledge, are most frequently reported and well-recognised consumer allergens.
Amyl cinnamal
Amylcinnamyl alcohol
Benzyl alcohol
Benzyl salicylate
Cinnamyl alcohol
Cinnamal
Citral
Coumarin
Eugenol
Geraniol
Hydroxycitronellal
Hydroxymethylpentyl-cyclohexenecarboxaldehyde
Isoeugenol
List B: Fragrance chemicals, which are less frequently reported and thus less documented as consumer allergens.
Anisyl alcohol
Benzyl benzoate
Benzyl cinnamate
Citronellol
Farnesol
Hexyl cinnamaldehyde
Lilial
d-Limonene
Linalool
Methyl heptine carbonate
3-Methyl-4-(2,6,6-trimethyl-2-cyclohexen-1-yl)-3-buten-2-one
4) Water-free skin care
Nothing against water containing products but without water we can avoid preservatives and provide 100% goodness for the skin
How much do I need to use?
It depends on the individual as our skin absorbs at different rates but use a small amount then add more if needed.
It’s advisable to use as soon as skin feels dry as this can stop the itch-scratch cycle but if that's not possible then twice a day.
Customers also like to apply the Balm and Cream when they are itchy due to the soothing properties.
There is no limit to how much you can use and it's safe to apply as often as required
Who can use it?
The Balm, Skin Cream, Bath & Body Oil can be used anywhere on the face, scalp and body for babies, children and adults.
Products have tested and issued a safety certificate following UK Cosmetic Safety Regulations.

- Skin prone to eczema, dermatitis, psoriasis and rosacea

Does the Balm & Skin Cream contain things I'm sensitive too?
Customers come to us because they have to avoid the following amongst other things:
Alcohol, Sesame, Palm Oil Preservatives, Coconut, Oats, SLS, Parabens, Essential Oils, Olive Oil, Fragrance, Steroids
The full ingredients are listed online by each product
My skin isn't sensitive Can they be used on non-problem skin ?
Yes - the Balm and Skin Cream is perfect for any skin as a general moisturiser.
Do you have anything suitable for dry skin eczema/psoriasis-prone skin in the hair?
We’ve had some impressive results on dry, flaky, itchy skin on the scalp. We advise applying the Balm at night and then wash out in the morning if desired. Smaller amounts can be used during the day as required, but try and part the hair as much as possible. Remember the products spread further with the warmth of the skin so be careful not to apply too much in order to not make the hair greasy.
Can I use the Relief Repair Replenish range during pregnancy?
The Relief Repair Replenish range is safe for use in pregnancy. Some people only develop eczema in pregnancy and for some it disappears!
It can be used as a bump rub during pregnancy when the skin stretches and becomes itchy and also post-pregnancy as the Balm and Skin Cream contain Rosehip oil which is a common ingredient in stretch mark creams.
Swimming dries my skin or causes a flare-up - what can you recommend?
The chemicals in swimming pools can irritate sensitive skin so we advise applying a layer of balm or skin cream before swimming and then after showering apply when the skin is still damp.
Some swimming pools use light filters to reduce the amount of chemicals so it’s worth seeing if you have a pool that does this locally.
In fact, avoid towel drying skin anytime after a bath or shower and allow skin to dry naturally.
Towel drying can cause further irritation and applying the Relief Repair Replenish Balm, Skin Cream or Body Oil to damp skin helps lock in extra moisture.
Where can I buy and are the products available on prescription?
Buying online from the Bria Organics website is the quickest way to buy.
We are working on making the product available on prescription as there is no reason why they shouldn’t be available! It’s just a lengthy process.
Where do you ship?
We ship worldwide, just select your country from the drop-down menu when placing your order.
Skin Cream or Balm?
Devised as a lighter version of our multi-award-winning Relief Repair Replenish Balm, our new Skin Cream is a lighter, easily absorbed alternative suitable for dry skin prone to eczema, dermatitis and psoriasis.
Over the past 16 years, customers have experienced some impressive results using the Balm due to its soothing, healing and moisturising effects but were looking for something lighter to use as a day cream, in between using the Balm and specifically for areas such as the face, for less severe skin problems and even for everyday use on non problematic skin.
Use it alongside our best-selling Relief Repair Replenish Balm or use in place of it for less severe skin problems and even general everyday use on non-problematic skin.
We took the Balm recipe and replaced the beeswax with shea butter. This has maintained the protective properties while allowing us to offer the choice of a lighter or a more intensive version, which is down to personal preference
Our Skin Cream has over twice as much rosehip oil as our Balm, which is known to heal scars and replenish and regenerate skin, it can be used on its own, in between using our Balm and in conjunction with our Bath & Body Oil. Some people use both as they like the Balm for some areas and the Skin Cream for others
Our Skin Cream is raw, meaning the ingredients remain unheated and as nature intended. As with most things the less processed, the more natural goodness is retained to go directly on the skin
Vegan (the only animal-derived product we use is beeswax and that’s in our balm)
Some may prefer the lighter texture of our Skin Cream but remember to use any of our products sparingly then they won’t feel too heavy
Our Skin Cream is being used as a lighter, cooler alternative potentially better for some to use in summer
Customers have said they use our Skin Cream when their eczema prone skin isn’t as angry
